Flu vaccine information
Per NYC Health guidelines: (B) (i) Children aged from 6 months to 59 months must be immunized each year before December 31 against influenza with a vaccine approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as likely to prevent infection for the influenza season that begins following July 1 that calendar year, unless the vaccine may be detrimental to the child’s health, as certified by a physician licensed to practice medicine in this state or the state in which the child resides. A child who first enrolls in a program after June 30 of any year is not required to meet the requirements of clause (i) of this paragraph for the flu season that ends before July 1 of that calendar year.
What this means is that if your first day of attendance is prior to June 30 of that calendar year, you are required to have a Flu shot that was administered after July 1 of the previous year.

Registration Process
Initial Inquiry: When a parent or guardian expresses interest in our daycare center, the first step is to gather some basic information about your child, such as the child’s age, any special needs, and the desired start date. This can be either over the phone, through email, or in-person.
Center Tour: Invite the parents or guardians to visit our daycare center to see the facility and meet the staff. During the tour, explain our curriculum, policies, and procedures.
Application Form/Enrollment Agreement: Provide an application form for the parents or guardians to fill out. This form will include information about the child’s health history, emergency contacts, and any special needs, general family and child history.
Once the application is complete, provide the enrollment agreement for the parents or guardians to sign. This agreement includes the dates of enrollment, the fees and payment schedule, and any policies or procedures that the parents must agree to follow.
Health and Safety Forms: Before the child can start attending the daycare center, the parents or guardians must provide proof of immunization and a completed health assessment form from the child’s doctor.
First Day of Attendance: On the first day of attendance, review the child’s information with the parents or guardians to ensure that everything is accurate and up-to-date. Please make sure that the Supply List is reviewed and all items provided are labeled.
By following these steps, you can help us ensure that the registration process is thorough and efficient, while allowing us to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for the children and their families.
Refund Policy
As outlined in our Enrollment Form, tuition is due at ALL times during the school year from September through June. Payment obligations are based on the hours you agree to facilitate in our program, not the actual hours of attendance. What this means is if a voluntary decision was made to skip a week or keep your child home after enrollment, tuition is due for such a week(s). Your spot in the program is based on the space you are occupying. You must pay for the days your child is out sick or on vacation/holiday/snow day, and major school holidays; unless explicitly stated by Our Little Angels that tuition is not due. There will be no make-up days for snow days, sick days, vacation days or holidays. We do not offer any refunds. However, we will apply a previously paid week of tuition to a more current week if you choose to depart Our Little Angels prior to the end of such program.
